David Luiz suffered wrist fracture during Arsenal game
Chelsea defender David Luiz is said to have damaged his wrist during the goalless Premier League draw against Arsenal last weekend.
The Brazil international was pushed into the advertisement hoardings right at the half-time whistle following a strong challenge from Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette
Luiz looked in apparent discomfort after the injury but continued through the second half until he received a straight red card for a nasty tackle on Sead Kolasinac in the 89th minute.
The centre-back is expected to miss the next three domestic games through suspension for the Blues, but according to The Sun, he could potentially be out for a few more weeks. It is added that Luiz does not require any surgery, and he has taken part in training wearing a splint on his broken wrist.
Summer signing Antonio Rudiger is expected to take the position of Luiz in central defence when the Blues take on the likes of Stoke City and Manchester City before the international break.
