Carlo Ancelotti heading for Chelsea comeback?
Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a potential replacement for Antonio Conte as they do not feel the Italian will serve the entirety of his current deal.
Conte guided the Blues to the Premier League title in his first season in charge, but his future still remains under question following the club's slow start to the current campaign.
The Blues are already nine points adrift of league leaders Manchester City, and Conte's position is likely to come under threat, should the gap widen in the coming months.
According to The Sun, the Blues' chiefs do not expect Conte to see out the remaining 20 months of his contract, and as a result, they have lined up Ancelotti as his potential successor.
Ancelotti made an unceremonious exit from Stamford Bridge back in 2011, but the former Bayern Munich boss bears no grudges with Blues owner Roman Abramovich.
Chelsea will look to maintain their top-four position in the Premier League when they face off against Eddie Howe's Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
