Arsenal join pursuit of Real Madrid goalkeeper
Arsenal have reportedly joined Liverpool in the quest to sign Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
The Costa Rica international has struggled to showcase his best form during the ongoing campaign, and it is suggested that he could leave the Bernabeu next summer, as per Diario Gol.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was recently deemed to have made contact with Navas to push through a future move, and according to Diario Gol, they could potentially face competition from Arsene Wenger's side.
The north London giants have identified Navas as a potential replacement for Petr Cech, who has struggled to put in consistent performances in the top-flight this term.
Navas was close to sealing a move to Manchester United in a part-exchange deal for David de Gea back in September 2015, but the deal fell through due to a faulty fax machine which delayed transmission of paperwork.
The former Real Sociedad man has won two Champions League titles in his three-year stay in Madrid, but his future remains in doubt with De Gea and Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois eyed as future replacements.
