Chelsea boss updates on Alvaro Morata's situation

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has confirmed that Alvaro Morata will be in contention for the Huddersfield game on Thursday night after having missed the weekend win over Liverpool with a minor injury.
The Blues celebrated a close 1-0 win over the Reds at Stamford Bridge on Sunday with Olivier Giroud netting the winner in the first period.
As a result, the west London giants are still alive in their quest for the top four, though they require one of Spurs or Liverpool to drop points before the end of the campaign.
Speaking after the game, Conte revealed that Morata's injury is not serious and he should return in time for the Terriers clash in midweek, he said: "It is not serious. In my mind he will be in contention for the game against Huddersfield.
"I hope to recover him because today on the bench we did not have a striker. It is very difficult to prepare another player in your mind if you have two strikers and one is injured."
In Morata's absence, Giroud firmed his position as the first-choice striker with another key winner and the Frenchman has now become a favourite among the Blues' faithful.
A victory over Huddersfield on Thursday night would put the Blues level on points with Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, though they are trailing the Reds by a significant goal difference.
