Besiktas plan approach for Liverpool striker
Turkish giants Besiktas are reportedly planning an approach to sign Daniel Sturridge from Liverpool during the ongoing transfer window.
The England international has fallen out of favour at Anfield amid concerns regarding his form and fitness and he now appears certain to leave the Reds with his contract expiring in 12 months' time.
According to Turkish outlet A Sport, Besiktas are leading the race to sign the 28-year-old forward and they are prepared to make a bid worth £10m in order to tempt the Reds into a sale.
Nevertheless, Jurgen Klopp's side are said to demand at least £15m for their marksman and this may end up prolonging the negotiations for the former Chelsea man.
Sturridge spent the second half of last season on loan with West Bromwich Albion after witnessing Klopp favour the likes of Roberto Firmino, Danny Ings and Dominic Solanke ahead of him in the pecking order.
