Arsenal and Tottenham eye French defender

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are closely looking at French defender Benjamin Pavard with the aim of signing the player, according to Mirror Football.
The VfB Stuttgart defender is currently with the French squad at the World Cup and scored a wonderful goal from outside the 18 yard box in France's 4-3 win over Argentina in the second round.
He is a utility player and can play as a right-back, centre-back, defensive midfielder and on the right wing.
He has also been linked with Italian club Napoli who could make a move soon.
The defender is currently focused on the summer World Cup with France where they prepare to face Uruguay in the quarter-final stage.
Arsenal and Spurs are looking to add the defender as they look to boost their side ahead of the next season.
Gunners boss Unai Emery is still very much committed to bringing in more players with the signing of Sokratis Papastathopoulos completed.
Arsenal have also been linked with PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
