Juventus strike club-record deal for Cristiano Ronaldo
Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has ended his nine-year association with Real Madrid. The former Manchester United star has put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal with Juventus.
The 33-year-old was first linked with the Bianconeri earlier in the month amid suggestions that the attacker wants a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Since then, things have flowed quickly and the Bianconeri have now wrapped up his services after agreeing on a club-record fee of nearly £100m.
The Portuguese becomes the club's seventh signing of the transfer window for Juventus and his arrival takes their spending to £195m for the summer.
Max Allegri's side are still expected to continue with their transfer business with a potential deal for Matteo Darmian planned but they may be a couple of exits along the way.
Gonzalo Higuain and Alex Sandro have been tipped to leave Turin for a combined fee of around £100m this summer as they seek to compensate for Ronaldo's arrival.
