West Ham to announce Felipe Anderson signing

West Ham United are on course to secure their sixth signing of the summer transfer window with a deal for Lazio's Felipe Anderson close to completion.

The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium over the past few weeks but the deal was being stalled due to a disagreement over the transfer fee.

However, according to The Sun, the Hammers appear to have finally reached an agreement over a club-record £35m sum plus add-ons for the Brazilian and the deal should be announced in the next 24 hours.

It is added that Anderson has travelled to the English capital to undergo the necessary medical tests and he is set to become the club's sixth summer recruit in a short period of time.

Lukasz Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks, Issa DiopJack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko have already made the switch to east London and Anderson's arrival is set to take their spending spree to over £80m under new boss Manuel Pellegrini.
