Liverpool increase offer to sign Brazilian star
Liverpool have reportedly increased on their opening offer to sign goalkeeper Alisson Becker from AS Roma during the current transfer window.
Earlier yesterday, Sky Sports News confirmed that the Reds had lodged a £60m bid for the Brazil international and they are now said to have upped their offer to £66.8m to push through the move at the earliest possibility.
Roma are yet to respond to the Reds' latest offer for their shot-stopper but Jurgen Klopp's side remain confident of striking a deal with Alisson keen on securing an exit.
Premier League rivals Chelsea had also expressed an interest in signing Alisson earlier in the month but they appear to have now switched their interest towards re-signing Petr Cech from Arsenal.
The west London giants are also weighing up a possible move for Leicester City's Kasper Schmeichel with Thibaut Courtois being tipped to join Real Madrid this summer.
