Liverpool have placed a £27million price tag on Belgian attacker Divock Origi as they reshape their squad ahead of the new campaign, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Origi was on loan at VfL Wolfsburg for the 2017/18 season but has been unable to convince Jurgen Klopp to keep him since his return.

The former Lille attacker played 31 Bundesliga games last season scoring six times and assisting two goals.

No offers have been made for the player, but it remains to be seen if clubs will be willing to pay such an amount given his recent form.

However, in today's transfer market where prices have gone high, a transfer at that amount may just happen for the Belgium player.

Apart from Origi, Liverpool are also looking to offload Danny Ings, Marko Grujic, Sheyi Ojo, Lazar Markovic, Simon Mignolet and Pedro Chirivella.

Ahead of the season where a good number of Liverpool fans are expecting trophies after reaching the UEFA Champions League final in the last, the Reds have signed Fabinho, Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson Becker.
