Sarri hints at Hazard stay
Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has dropped a hint that attacker Eden Hazard will stay at Stamford Bridge for the 2018/19 season.
It was reported that the Belgian will hold talks on Monday about getting a £300k weekly wage to keep him at Chelsea amid interests from Real Madrid.
Sky Sports reports the former Empoli boss saying that the 'problem' involving Hazard is not present after talks between the pair.
Hazard has an admiration for the UEFA Champions League holders, but Chelsea's £200m valuation of the attacker has reportedly scared Madrid away.
Real Madrid are still yet to sign a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo after letting him join Juventus this summer - and Hazard has been touted as a possible replacement.
With Gareth Bale staying at Real for the coming season, the European giants may just look to the Welshman to give them the goals they need to fight for major trophies.
Chelsea begin their Premier League season with a game against Huddersfield on Saturday. Chelsea finished last season in fifth position.
