Everton agree Mina and Gomes deal with Barcelona

Andre Gomes news

Everton have reached an agreement to sign Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes from Barcelona, according to reports.

The deal for Mina will cost the Merseyside club €30.25, while that of Gomes will be €2.25m (on loan). The Catalan side have reserved the right to buy back Mina.

After a good performance at the World Cup in Russia, Mina had been linked with a Premier League move with Manchester United among the interested clubs.

Mina's move to Old Trafford reportedly broke down due to a row over agent fees, but it was reported that United later placed another offer of £35m.

Mina and Gomes are Everton's fourth and fifth signing of the summer after completing the transfers of Lucas Digne, Richarlison, and Bernard.

Mina and Gomes are also Everton's second and third signing from Barcelona after completing that of defender Digne from the Catalan club.

After a slow start to the transfer window, Everton have ensured they bolster their squad as new coach Marco Silva looks to bring success and entertainment to the Merseyside club.
