Spanish champions Barcelona have reportedly refused to give up on the signing of midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

Earlier last week, the Blaugrana had offered a player-plus-cash deal including Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes for Pogba but United opted to reject their advances without any second thought.

Despite this, there has been much speculation regarding Pogba's situation at Old Trafford and The Telegraph claims that the Blaugrana could revive their interest in the Frenchman in either January or at the end of the campaign.

Pogba starred for United during the recent 2-1 win over Leicester City in the league opener but he thereafter hinted over his strained relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.

Based on this, the Frenchman may consider his future from Old Trafford, although the club's hierarchy are said to have no plans of parting ways with his services in the near future.

Manchester United make the trip to the South Coast to face Brighton & Hove Albion in their next league game. Mourinho's men succumbed to a 1-0 defeat in the same fixture last term.
