Adam Lallana set for West Ham move?
Liverpool's out of favour midfielder Adam Lallana could be on the verge of leaving Anfield in the January transfer window. The England international appears to be a top target for West Ham, who are looking to bolster their attacking options with the signing of a top proven Premier League talent.
Lallana, who has struggled with injuries in recent years, has found playing time limited with the arrivals of the likes of Sadio Mane, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mohamed Salah.
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini is reportedly a fan of Lallana and could approve a move for the wantaway Liverpool man for a fee of around £8.5 million come January.
Lallana is hopeful that a move to another Premier League club will help rekindle the form that made him a first team regular for both club and country and the improving West Ham would be an excellent place to showcase his talents.
It is understood that West Ham will also battle with Newcastle United to sign Lallana, with the Toon Army manager Rafa Benitez apparently also interested in signing the player.
