Martial won't feature against PSG

Manchester United have reportedly decided against taking the risk with Anthony Martial against Paris Saint-Germain with a key Premier League game against Arsenal over the weekend.

The Red Devils are currently trailing Les Parisiens by a 2-0 scoreline after the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 and their prospects of making a comeback remain difficult amid the wholesale injuries within the squad.

According to The Mirror, interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not prepared to risk with the fitness of Martial on Wednesday night, given United have an important league fixture at the Emirates Stadium three days later.

Martial is expected to be one of 10 absentees for the Paris trip with Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Ander Herrera, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian and Phil Jones unavailable.

Among those, Pogba remains the only one suspended following his red card during the home leg against Les Parisiens. United go into the game with eight successive away wins under their caretaker manager.
