Philippe Coutinho heading for summer Barcelona exit?

Former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho could pursue a fresh challenge away from Barcelona amid his struggles to cement a regular role during the current campaign.

The Brazil international has endured a tough season in the Spanish La Liga this term and he has managed just four goals and two assists from the 24 appearances.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Les Parisiens are keeping a close eye on the proceedings of the Brazilian, who was previously on their radar during his time at Anfield.

Coutinho has been in-and-out of the starting lineup for Barcelona this term and of late, he has found himself warming the bench regularly with Ousmane Dembele being the preferred choice to partner Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in the frontline.

The former Internacional graduate has yet to make any public intention to leave the Blaugrana but he is likely to consider his future, should Valverde continue to ignore him for the first XI in the forthcoming months.
