Bayern Munich legend talks up Sane transfer deal
Bayern Munich legend Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has talked up a potential move for Man City winger Leroy Sane. The German wizard has been linked with a move away from the Cityzens in a transfer worth an estimated 100 million euros.
With Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery departing Bayern Munich this summer, the club are seeking able replacements for the duo and have decided that Sane would represent the best option on the market.
Man City manager Pep Guardiola famously fell out with Sane this season, often opting to leave the player on the substitutes bench.
Bayern legend Rummenigge has confirmed Sane would be a possibility.
"You shouldn't forget that he still has two years contract and that Manchester City don't just sells their players because they need to," Rummenigge said.
"This will be difficult. But I think that the player has to be convinced to have the joy for playing here at Bayern.
"He would be the successor of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery which is very interesting. As a player, this would be a good incentive I think."
