Pogba wanted at Real Madrid?

Real Madrid have reportedly made a fresh approach to secure the signature of midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.

The Frenchman has just completed his third year with the Red Devils but his future remains uncertain amid the regular links with Zinedine Zidane's side.

According to The Mirror, Los Blancos are planning to extend their summer spending spree and they are keen to pursue Pogba after the recent purchase of Eden Hazard from Chelsea.

The same publication claims that the Spanish heavyweights are not keen on matching United's £130m price tag for Pogba and they are prepared to offer Gareth Bale as a makeweight to reduce the transfer valuation.

Los Blancos have been busy during the early part of the summer and they have already secured moves for Hazard, Luka Jovic, Rodrygo and Eder Militao for a combined sum of more than £225m.

Their spending is set to continue during the forthcoming weeks with Zidane determined to spring a strong challenge for domestic and European honours after a forgettable 2018/19 season.
