Arsenal quoted asking price to sign Celtic star
Arsenal have reportedly been told that they would have to spend around £25m to secure the signature of Celtic defender Kieran Tierney.
The Scotland international has made 170 appearances for the Scottish champions to date and during this period, he has been linked with a Premier League move on a number of occasions.
According to The Mirror, the Hoops could be prepared to sanction the defender's sale this summer, should one of the player's admirers match their £25m asking price.
The Gunners are presently working on a limited budget for the summer transfer window but they are still hoping to land Tierney, who has been earmarked as the prime defensive target for manager Unai Emery.
Meanwhile, reports elsewhere have claimed that out-of-favour defender Carl Jenkinson could be offered in a player-plus-cash deal for Tierney as the Gunners seek to reduce the overall transfer package.
Arsenal have yet to make any signing in the transfer window but they are said to be making progress towards potential deals for Yannick Carrasco, William Saliba and Alexis Claude-Maurice.
