Arsenal prepared to offer one of three players in Wilfried Zaha move
Arsenal are reportedly considering a player-plus-cash offer for Wilfried Zaha after acknowledging that they are unlikely to meet Crystal Palace's asking price for the attacker.
The north London side have already failed with an opening £40m bid for the winger and reports have indicated that the Eagles are unlikely to lower their £80m price tag.
According to The Mirror, the club are now pondering the prospect of a part-exchange deal whereby they could offer one of Carl Jenkinson, Calum Chambers or Mohamed Elneny in the opposite direction.
The Eagles recently parted ways with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who joined Manchester United, and Jenkinson could emerge as a potential target to bolster the right side of the defence.
On the other hand, Elneny should provide an option to bolster the midfield while Chambers may be the most attractive choice, given his versatility to play in multiple defensive and midfield positions as well as his home-grown status.
