Arsenal move to sign £36m-rated Brazilian winger
Arsenal have reportedly made a formal offer of around £36m to secure the services of Everton Soares from Gremio this summer.
The Brazilian has recently emerged as a target for the Gunners with manager Unai Emery keen on strengthening the wide attacking department.
According to the Mirror, the Gunners have stepped forward with an official £36m bid for the attacker after getting to know of the interest from Napoli.
The same publication claims that the winger has been learning English in the past few weeks and that could give an indication that he may be heading to the Premier League this summer.
Soares was one of the top performers for Brazil at the recent Copa America and he managed to contribute three goals and an assist as he was handed with the Golden Boot award.
Arsenal have made three signings during the ongoing transfer window with Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba and Dani Ceballos making the switch to the Emirates Stadium.
