Barcelona reach agreement to sign Neymar?
Barcelona have reportedly agreed on a £154m package with Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar but they have yet to finalise the payment structure for the Brazilian's return.
A meeting was held between the officials of both clubs on Tuesday and Blaugrana chief Javier Bordas has since confirmed that Neymar is close to rejoining the Spanish champions before the September 2 transfer deadline.
According to ESPN, the Blaugrana have agreed on a fee in the region of £154m for the attacker but they are yet to find a way of paying up the sum before the transfer window closes.
Ernesto Valverde's side are prepared to pay the fee over a three-year period but Les Parisiens are reluctant to accept the proposal and want the majority of the sum paid immediately.
In this case, the Blaugrana could face some hurdles in meeting the Financial Fair Play requirements and they may yet propose to loan out one of their existing players to Les Parisiens this summer.
Ousmane Dembele has been widely linked with the French champions over the past weeks and reports indicate that he could spend the 2019/2020 season on loan with Thomas Tuchel's side.
