Manchester City, Arsenal interested in Real Madrid star?

Manchester City and Arsenal could reportedly go head-to-head to secure the services of Isco from Real Madrid during the winter transfer window.

The Spain international has been with Los Blancos for the past six years but he has found gametime hard to come by this term with just 170 minutes of action under Zinedine Zidane.

According to AS, both City and Arsenal are keeping a close watch on the former Malaga man, who could pursue a fresh challenge at the turn of the year.

The Gunners have already recruited Dani Ceballos on loan from Los Blancos for the current campaign but they seem keen on adding more creativity in the ranks through Isco.

The Citizens, on the other hand, have been regularly linked with Isco in the past few transfer windows and reports indicate that he has been identified as a successor to David Silva, who will leave the club at the end of the season.

Los Blancos are said to be eyeing a cut-price deal for Tottenham Hotspur's Christian Eriksen and the Dane's arrival should pave the way for Isco to secure a new challenge elsewhere.
