Chelsea striker wanted by West Ham United
Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has reportedly been identified as a January transfer target for fellow Premier League side West Ham United.
The Frenchman has clearly fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and he is regarded as the third-choice marksman behind Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi.
As a result, he has already hinted that he may consider his options at the turn of the year and Football Insider claims that the Hammers are contemplating whether to make an approach.
Giroud had previously made the move to the Blues from Arsenal due to his ambition to his family's ambition to stay put in London and he may be tempted to consider the move to Manuel Pellegrini's side.
Still, he would want assurances of regular gametime from the starting lineup and that remains a question mark with summer signing Sebastien Haller making a good impression during the first half of the season.
Aside from West Ham, Crystal Palace remains another option for the former Gunners star with manager Roy Hodgson wanting to improve the club's goalscoring record.
