Chelsea offer out-of-favour striker to AC Milan?
Chelsea have reportedly offered AC Milan with the chance to sign Olivier Giroud on a cut-price deal when the transfer window reopens next month.
The Frenchman has received limited first-team action under the guidance of Frank Lampard and he only made his second league start of the season last weekend.
That decision came as a result of Tammy Abraham's injury setback and Giroud is well aware that he will be dropped when the England international makes his return in the near future.
According to Calciomercato, the Blues are more than willing to offload Giroud in the New Year and they have presented the Rossoneri with the chance to sign the former Arsenal man.
The Serie A outfit are currently looking at a reunion with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is available on a free transfer but reports indicate that they could turn their attention to Giroud, should the move fall through.
AC Milan's cross-town rivals Inter have also been linked with the marksman in recent weeks. Antonio Conte, formerly of Chelsea, is keen on adding competition to Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku for the striker positions.
