Arsenal to hold talks with Mauricio Pochettino?
Arsenal are reportedly planning to hold talks with former Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino regarding the managerial vacancy at the club.
The north London giants parted ways with Unai Emery towards the end of November and they have since appointed Freddie Ljungberg as the interim manager.
According to Express, the Gunners are keen to fast track their bid to sign a new head coach and they are expected to hold talks with Pochettino, who remains one of their targets.
Pochettino returned to Argentina shortly after his dismissal at Tottenham last month but he is expected to fly back to England in the coming days with a view to sorting out his future.
Aside from the Argentine, the Gunners are also interested in the likes of Mikel Arteta, Patrick Vieira and Paulo Sousa and they are expected to hold talks with each of them in the near future.
Arsenal recently ended a nine-match winless run with a 3-2 comeback win over West Ham United in the Premier League. The victory has propelled them to the top half of the standings and within seven points off the top four.
