Tottenham amongst the clubs to show interest in Championship defender
According to Daily Mail, Tottenham have shown interest in signing Brighton defender Ben White alongside Liverpool and Chelsea.
The 22-year-old is currently plying his trade with Leeds United on a season-long loan. He also previously had his loan spells with Newport County and Peterborough United in the subsequent seasons.
The English centre-back proves out to be a key cog in the defence for Marcelo Bielsa, having featured in all of the Championship games for the Whites this season.
However, the report adds that there is no apparent break clause in his loan-deal, therefore reducing the likelihood for a transfer in January.
Spurs are looking to add defensive reinforcements as they have also been linked with Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.
Jose Mourinho is currently left with few defensive options like Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen, while the latter one is running out of the contract. Argentine defender Juan Foyth is also being overlooked by the Portuguese manager.
Spurs are currently sixth in the Premier league table after winning only two of their last five games.
