Barcelona switch attention to Ajax ace Dusan Tadic
Barcelona have reportedly switched their attention towards Ajax forward Dusan Tadic, according to Goal.com.
The Catalans’ pursuit of Valencia ace Rodrigo Moreno has reportedly failed, which has now led them to the Serbian striker.
The report also adds that Tadic is keen on a move to Camp Nou, however, the Amsterdam outfit is holding against the decision to let their talismanic figure leave at the midway stage of the season.
The 31-year-old has been once again excellent in Eredivisie this season, racking up 8 goals and 14 assists despite getting knocked out in the UCL group stage, the competition in which Tadic took the centre stage last term, helping Ajax reach the semi-finals.
Barca appear desperate to sign a new striker in this transfer window as their stalwart Luis Suarez is ruled out of the season due to knee surgery.
Blaugrana have also sorted out some prolific names like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Lautaro Martinez and Wissam Ben Yedder in their wishlist.
Quique Setien’s start to his managerial stint at Nou Camp has been underwhelming after his side dropped points against Valencia at Mestalla.
