Frank Lampard ready to sell Kepa Arrizabalaga
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is prepared to sell goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga at the end of the season with the view to landing a quick replacement.
The Spaniard has been the regular goalkeeper in the Premier League for the Blues but he was dropped for the recent game at Leicester City with Willy Caballero getting the nod.
According to Cadena COPE, Lampard may stick with Caballero for the rest of the campaign after becoming frustrated with the lack of consistency from Arrizabalaga between the sticks.
The same outlet claims that the Blues boss has urged the hierarchy to look for potential suitors for the Spaniard and he would prefer a replacement being signed before the end of June.
Arrizabalaga has been in-and-out of the starting lineup for Spain in the past few years and his failure to command a regular role with the Blues could hamper his prospects of making the first XI ahead of Manchester United's David de Gea at Euro 2020.
