United identify four striker targets

Manchester United have reportedly identified four strikers to target when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

The Red Devils signed Odion Ighalo on loan rom Shanghai Shenhua last month but the Nigerian stands the chance of earning a permanent deal, should he impress.

Still, the club are said to be eyeing a quality striker to compete with Anthony Martial upfront next season and Evening Standard claims that the club have added four players to their summer shortlist.

Lyon's Moussa Dembele and Leipzig's Timo Werner are obviously well known targets but it appears that the club have added the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Odsonne Edouard to their wishlist.

Martinez, who is currently plying his trade for Inter Milan, has netted 16 goals in all competitions this term. His form has also captured the attention of Barcelona, who are eyeing a new striker due to Luis Suarez's persistent injury concerns.

Meanwhile, Edouard has enjoyed a terrific second season with Celtic where he has already scored 24 goals. The Frenchman has been tipped to follow the example of Dembele and head through the exit door this summer.
