Arsenal yet to open contract talks with emerging star

Bukayo Saka news

Arsenal yet to commit Saka to fresh deal

Arsenal have yet to finalise a new contract with club graduate Bukayo Saka, a report from Football.London claims.

The teenager has enjoyed an excellent breakthrough season with the Gunners and he has already made 29 appearances in all competitions.

Saka's current deal with the north London club expires in June 2021 and Football.London suggests that the club are far from agreeing on an extension with the teenager.

Saka has registered three goals and nine assists in the current campaign and he has been a regular in the left-back position since the turn of the year following injuries to Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney.

Borussia Dortmund are currently keeping a close eye on the situation. The likes of Manchester United and Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in the England youth international.

Aside from Saka, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Reiss Nelson and Shkodran Mustafi are some of the high-profile players, whose contracts with the club will also expire in 14 months' time.
