Serie A giants price themselves out of Paul Pogba move
Juventus are unlikely to re-sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer after introducing a maximum salary cap to cope with the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Serie A giants have been regularly linked with Pogba's services over the past year but they have not made any formal approach to re-sign the France international.
Of late, there has been the speculation that they could exchange Adrien Rabiot in a part-exchange deal for Pogba but that appears unlikely to happen, according to Corriere di Torino.
The Italian outlet says that the Bianconeri have introduced a salary cap in order to promote financial solidarity during the current crisis due to the COVID-19 virus.
It is added that they will pay out a maximum of £151,000 per week in wages to their players for the next 12 months, though Cristiano Ronaldo remains the only exception in this case.
In such a situation, Pogba will need to take a 50 percent paycut to return to Turin this summer and it would come as a huge surprise, if the midfielder accepts to do so.
