Danny Rose to complete permanent Newcastle United move
England international left-back Danny Rose will extend his stay with Newcastle United in to next season after reportedly agreeing to a deal with the Magpies. The player, who is desperate to leave parent club Tottenham, is set to depart White Hart Lane for a fee of around £3.5 million.
Rose has fallen out of favour with manager Jose Mourinho in recents months, with the Portuguese informing the defender that he would no longer be guaranteed first-team football. Instead, Ben Davies has occupied the left-back berth at Tottenham.
Newcastle appear to have survived for yet another season in the Premier League, and Rose has impressed on occassion when called upon by his temporary club.
It appears that Newcastle have beaten Everton and Bournemouth to Rose's signature, with the St James' Park outfit set to guarantee Rose a three year contract that will be wrapped up once the transfer window reopens on the 26th of July.
Newcastle, who sit 13th in the Premier League and on 43 points with just two games to go, are ready to spend upwards of £50 million on new players this summer.
