Arsenal offered Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic in exchange for Guendouzi?

Barcelona are prepared to include both Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic in a potential swap deal to sign Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi this summer.

Guendouzi has fallen out-of-favour with the Gunners since the bust-up with Brighton forward Neal Maupay last month and he has been tipped to head through the exit door.

A recent report from Foot Mercato claimed that the Blaugrana are prepared to offer Coutinho to the Gunners for around £45m, suppose they are willing to allow Guendouzi to move in the opposite direction.

The same publication now claims that the Catalan giants have made a different proposal whereby both Vidal and Rakitic could head to the Emirates in a straight-swap deal for Guendouzi.

Arsenal are desperate to improve their midfield options for next season with Guendouzi expected to leave the club while there are doubts regarding the futures of Dani Ceballos and Lucas Torreira.

The club have yet to negotiate a fresh loan deal for Ceballos from Real Madrid. Meanwhile, Torreira has been touted to return to the Serie A with AC Milan interested in signing him.
