Arsenal not interested in Philippe Coutinho
Arsenal are unlikely to sign Philippe Coutinho in any kind of deal this summer, a report from The Telegraph claimed.
The Brazilian has been regularly linked with a Premier League move and it was recently claimed that the Gunners could land his services on a season-long loan.
However, according to The Telegraph, that appears unlikely to happen and the club are set to prioritise the signing of Willian on a three-year deal once his contract with Chelsea expires.
The north London side have recently announced the decision to make 55 jobs redundant amid the coronavirus pandemic, but they have assured that won't have any effect on the summer transfer plans.
A new midfielder remains a priority for manager Mikel Arteta and he is said to be keen on signing Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid. So far, they have failed with an opening offer which included Matteo Guendouzi.
The Gunners are likely to come up with a renewed bid, but it is uncertain whether they will trigger the £45m release clause in the contract of the Ghana international.
