Arsenal set asking price for Ainsley Maitland-Niles?
Arsenal could be prepared to part ways with Ainsley Maitland-Niles this summer as they seek to recoup funds to reinforce the squad.
Maitland-Niles starred for the Gunners during the backend of their FA Cup campaign, but his future with the club remains uncertain.
He played in the left wing-back role in both the semi-final and final, but could drop to the bench next term, if Mikel Arteta opts for a four-man defence.
Hence, he is free to leave the club during the current transfer window and The Sun reports that the Gunners are prepared to listen to offers of more than £30m for his services.
Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion have been heavily linked with his services in recent weeks and it will be interesting to see whether Maitland-Niles will consider an exit.
He has previously expressed his frustration at playing in the defence instead of featuring in the midfield. He could receive the assurance of playing in his preferred role at a new club.
