Serie A giants keen on landing Arsenal striker

Alexandre Lacazette news

Lacazette wanted by Andrea Pirlo

Serie A champions Juventus are prepared to step up their interest in signing Alexandre Lacazette from Arsenal, a report from Calciomercato claims.

The Frenchman had an average 2019/2020 season with the Gunners and he managed to score only 12 goals across all competitions for the club.

Lacazette currently has less than two years remaining on his contract and talks over an extension are not planned at the current point of time.

The north London side are open to parting ways with his services and Calciomercato reports that the Bianconeri are leading the race to sign him.

With the anticipated exit of Gonzalo Higuain, new boss Andrew Pirlo is eyeing a new marksman and Lacazette has been identified as one of the top targets.

Lacazette is presently valued at £30m, but the Bianconeri are aiming to negotiate a part-exchange deal to reduce the overall valuation.

Douglas Costa, Daniele Rugani, Federico Bernardeschi and Cristian Romero are among the players, who are available to move in the opposite direction.
