Chelsea ready to sell defender for £36m amid Everton interest
Chelsea are prepared to consider the sale of Kurt Zouma this summer amid the reported interest from Everton, Le 10 Sport claims.
The Frenchman spent the 2018/2019 campaign on loan with the Toffees, where he was one of their leading performers.
The Merseyside outfit tried to re-sign him permanently last summer, but the move was blocked by Frank Lampard.
However, it appears that Zouma could head through the exit door this time around, having fallen down the pecking order for the centre-back role.
The Frenchman is currently behind the likes of Thiago Silva, Andreas Christensen and Fikayo Tomori in the selection order for the league duties.
The Blues value the centre-back at around £36m and it remains to be seen whether the Toffees will meet the price tag.
Chelsea have made seven major signings this summer and they have already spent more than £220m in the transfer market.
They are eyeing one more signing before the transfer deadline. West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice is the priority target for Lampard.
