Chelsea defender demands January exit
Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori has reportedly demanded to leave the Blues on a temporary basis during the current transfer window.
Tomori has made only four appearances this season and one of those came in the FA Cup tie against Morecambe, where he played just 10 minutes.
A recent report suggested that Tomori's loan exit could be blocked with Andreas Christensen picking up a knee injury which may be serious.
However, that does not appear the case and Christensen could return ahead of the upcoming Premier League clash at Fulham.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Tomori has demanded a temporary move elsewhere as he is keen on playing regular first-team football.
Leeds United and Newcastle United are among the leading Premier League clubs to sign him while Rennes are also interested.
Rennes were in advanced talks with the Blues for Tomori last summer, but the defender made a U-turn to fight for his position.
Tomori has since earned only 44 minutes of league action with Thiago Silva, Kurt Zouma, Antonio Rudiger and Christensen favoured ahead of him.
