West Ham United make Diego Costa decision
West Ham United have decided against a move for former Chelsea striker Diego Costa, who is currently a free-agent.
The Hammers sanctioned the sale of Sebastien Haller to Ajax for £20m last month and that has left them short up front.
Michail Antonio is the only specialist striker in the ranks and it was recently claimed that they could move for Costa.
However, Football.London claims that David Moyes is reluctant to make a panic signing and won't look to sign any one until the summer.
Costa was released by Atletico earlier this season and it was initially suggested that he could make the switch to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Wolves, however, looked elsewhere and ended up signing Willian Jose from Real Sociedad on a permanent deal.
Meanwhile, the Hammers utilised the funds received from Haller to turn Said Benrahma's loan deal into a permanent one.
That allowed them to sign Jesse Lingard on loan from Manchester United. The attacker could make his debut against Newcastle United.
