Liverpool interested in Premier League defender
Liverpool will make an attempt to sign Ben White from Brighton & Hove Albion during this summer's transfer window.
White impressed on loan with Leeds United last term as they secured promotion to the Premier League after a 16-year absence.
He was tipped to leave the Seagulls over the summer but they managed to ward off any interest by setting a hefty £40m price tag.
According to Football Insider, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was impressed with White's display during the 1-0 loss to Brighton at Anfield this month.
The club signed Ben Davies and Ozan Kabak to reinforce the backline this month but they are still open to pursuing White's signature.
The Merseyside giants believe White could act as the perfect partner for Virgil van Dijk, who is currently out with a long-term knee injury.
The Reds recently suffered a fourth straight loss in the league against Everton and they are now five points adrift of the Champions League places.
