Arsenal defender could be set for Barcelona move

Arsenal to part ways with Hector Bellerin?

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin could make the move to Barcelona this summer after Joan Laporta was elected as the club president.

Laporta won the majority of the votes during the election held at the Camp Nou yesterday and he is now expected to focus on possible incomings.

A recent report from ESPN claimed that Laporta had been in contact with Bellerin's representative regarding a possible summer move.

It is now revealed that Bellerin is one of the top targets for the 58-year-old and the Blaugrana could make a formal approach.

Bellerin was eager to leave the Gunners last summer, but he was convinced to stay by manager Mikel Arteta for another 12 months.

The right-back is likely to move on from the club this summer and reports claim that they could demand between £25m and £30m for his sale.

The Gunners are already lining up possible replacement options. Norwich City's Max Aarons and Inter's Achraf Hakimi are among the targets.
