Aguero to leave Manchester City

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has reportedly decided to pursue a fresh challenge away from the club this summer.

The Argentine has been with the Cityzens for nearly a decade and he is their all-time top-scorer with 258 goals across all competitions.

However, he has hardly played this term due to injuries, competition for places and coronavirus. He has netted two times from 11 games.

According to The Mail, the 32-year-old has decided to part ways with the Mancunian giants when his contract expires in June.

David Beckham is eager to lure him to Major League Soccer with his Inter Miami franchise, but there is plenty of competition.

Aguero's former club Independiente may be an option, should the Argentine consider finishing his career in his home country.

Meanwhile, there are suggestions that he could join Barcelona to be reunited with close friend and compatriot Lionel Messi.

Messi's deal with the Catalan giants expires in June, but there are suggestions that he may be convinced to stay with Aguero's arrival.
