Barcelona could go head-to-head with Everton in the race to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot this summer.

The 26-year-old has been a key player in the Bianconeri ranks this term, but manager Andrea Pirlo wants a midfield rebuild.

He is hopeful of signing Manuel Locatelli and Paul Pogba and Calciomercato claims that Rabiot could be offloaded.

It is added that the Frenchman could be available for just €20m and the Blaugrana have recently made contact with Rabiot's agent.

The Toffees are also interested in the midfielder, and they are hopeful of luring him with the influence of manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Ancelotti handed Rabiot with his first-team debut at Paris Saint-Germain nine years ago and the duo continue to have a good relationship.

Ancelotti has already signed the likes of James Rodriguez (Real Madrid) and Allan (Napoli) from his former clubs.

He is hoping to lure more high-profile players and reports claim that he is also aiming to land Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli.
