Tuchel confirms triple injury boost for Chelsea

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed the availability of three first-team stars ahead of the Champions League clash against Porto.

The Blues suffered an embarrassing 5-2 league defeat to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, and they will be aiming to make amends tomorrow.

They are scheduled to face Porto in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie, and ahead of the game, they have received a triple injury boost.

N'Golo Kante and Tammy Abraham have recovered from their hamstring and ankle problems respectively, and are available for selection.

However, Tuchel clarified that Kante won't start the game. Meanwhile, Christian Pulisic has also been deemed fit for the clash.

The USA international pulled out of the second half against the Baggies with a tight hamstring, but he has made a swift comeback.

The Blues were on a stunning 15-match unbeaten run until the surprise loss to Sam Allardyce's side at Stamford Bridge.

They have faced Porto on eight occasions in the Champions League, and have been on the winning side five times.
