Dominic Calvert-Lewin to Arsenal?
Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has emerged as a potential striker target for Arsenal this summer.
The 24-year-old had a top 2020/21 campaign for the Toffees, registering 21 goals from 39 appearances in all competitions.
His progress has caught the eye of several European clubs including Real Madrid. The Gunners have joined the race for his services.
According to The Telegraph, the Gunners have the striker on their summer wishlist, and could be prepared to outbid their rivals.
However, they may need to offload players first. The north London club could look to offload both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah.
Lacazette and Nketiah are entering the final year of their respective contracts, and no negotiations have been held over renewals.
Calvert-Lewin could come in as a replacement for Lacazette while Folarin Balogun could be promoted to the senior squad to replace Nketiah.
Balogun was on the radar of 15 clubs earlier this year, but he was convinced to sign a new long-term deal with the promise of game time.
