Chelsea keen on signing Italian winger?
Chelsea have been credited with an interest in signing Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi this summer.
The Italian had a superb 2020/21 campaign in the Serie A, registering 17 goals and eight assists from 30 appearances.
Berardi continued his form at the European Championships with two assists, and he is currently on high demand.
According to Calciomercato, Sassuolo are open to parting ways with Berardi if any club meets their £40m valuation.
Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund are leading the race to sign him. AC Milan have decided to end their interest.
The Blues are not actively looking into a move, but could make an approach if they offload one or two wide players.
Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner have been linked with potential exits, but it appears unlikely that they will leave.
Thomas Tuchel wants to keep the core of the squad together, and the club are preparing new contracts for key players.
The likes of N'Golo Kante, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen are expected to pen new deals soon.
