Manchester United winger heading for exit?
Manchester United winger Daniel James could be heading for a permanent move away from the club, The Sun reports.
The Welshman has started two of the three Premier League games this term, but there are genuine doubts over his future.
The Red Devils recently made the surprise decision to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo, who is expected to lead the line.
This should see Mason Greenwood play out wide more often this season, adding to the competition for places for James.
Jadon Sancho, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba can also play in the wide attacking roles.
According to The Sun, United are open to the temporary exit of James, but would also entertain his permanent departure.
Leeds United, Everton, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion are among the clubs in the running to land his services.
Leeds twice failed to sign him in 2019. They could be considered favourites to pursue his services before the window closes.
