Arsenal midfielder on the radar of Everton
Everton are reportedly interested in landing the signature of Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
The England international has fallen down the pecking order, and he is no longer a regular starter for the Gunners.
Hence, he has been fancied to head for the exit door, and Sky Sports claims that the Toffees will propose a season-long loan.
Maitland-Niles has played almost his entire Gunners career from the full-back positions, but he sees himself as a midfielder.
The Toffees are likely to propose regular game time for him from the right-back role, but it is unclear whether he will accept.
Meanwhile, the Gunners could also be reluctant to sanction another loan deal unless there is an obligation to buy next summer.
Aside from Maitland-Niles, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson, Hector Bellerin, Sead Kolasinac and Willian are touted to leave this month.
Maitland-Niles has two years left on his existing deal. The Gunners valued him at around £20 million during last summer's transfer window.
