Arsenal make Ainsley Maitland-Niles decision
Arsenal have reportedly decided to keep Ainsley Maitland-Niles despite the loan interest from Everton.
The Toffees recently made an approach for the Gunners graduate, but the proposal was rejected instantly.
Maitland-Niles went public on Instagram with his desire to leave, but the issue has now been sorted.
According to Sky Sports, the 24-year-old held face-to-face discussions with Mikel Arteta earlier today.
In the unplanned meeting, he was assured that he is in the first team plans, and will play more regularly this term.
Maitland-Niles has now been convinced to stay put, and won't push for an exit before the transfer window closes.
The north London outfit are still expected to offload few players. Hector Bellerin appears on his way to Real Betis.
Betis have agreed to sign him on loan after he agreed a significant pay-cut. There is no buy option included in the deal.
The Gunners are expected to announce the signing of Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna in the next few hours.
